Dichroic Glass Collection - description

Each dichroic glass cabochon, dichroic glass pendant, dichroic glass earring, or dichroic glass button is irresistibly unique.

These are created by cutting & layering colored or patterned glass, and then using a kiln to fuse the layers into a single piece.  

Each piece is more or less unique, even if it came from the same batch.  Generally, these pieces have rounded edges (no sharp corners) and the backs are plain.  

In the pictures you'll notice three types of dichroic interactions in our cabochons.  Some cabachons are textured dichroic layer on the surface, some are completely covered with smooth glass, and some are glassy smooth with floating dichroic texturing the edges.

Pieces described as "grooved" have a shallow groove around their outer circumference. 

"Bail attached" means the piece is ready to use as a pendent. 

"Only One" means that only one of this item is available for purchase, although similar items might be available.  We do not substitute.  If the item is sold before your order is received, we will email for your instructions (order will be held).
